Superior GlassProtect Fibra is a wired glass break detector designed for high‑security indoor environments. It uses a sensitive electret microphone and the DualTone digital algorithm to distinguish real glass break events from background noise. With a detection range of up to 9 meters and a 180° horizontal angle, the detector provides wide coverage for windows, glass doors, and display cases. Fibra wired communication ensures stable, encrypted, long‑distance connectivity with the hub.

How It Works
Superior GlassProtect Fibra detects glass break events using an electret microphone tuned to the acoustic signature of breaking glass. The DualTone algorithm analyzes two sound components — the low‑frequency impact and the high‑frequency shattering — and triggers an alarm only when both occur within 1.5 seconds. This two‑stage verification significantly reduces false alarms from pets, traffic, or ambient noise. Fibra communication provides encrypted, two‑way data exchange with the hub, ensuring reliable operation even in large facilities.
